Sorry for the lack of updates here. It has been a hectic few weeks. Promotion at work, means more responsibilities and learning new tools, good in some respects. Being put in charge of a team also means longer hours and more accountability. End of the quarter also means account reviews and in this economic climate those are even more important than ever.

It is Sunday morning the third day post surgery. I am very sore and the drain they put in my back is still oozing. My neck hurts even after taking the oxycodone and acetaminophen tablets (Percocet) as per doctors orders. I am also taking celecoxib tablets (Celebrex) to fight inflammation. Here is a brief description of what I have experienced the last few days.
This past Monday was the scheduled echocardiogram and cardiac stress test. I arrive at the doctors office a few minutes early. I fill out the few necessary forms and wait patiently for the test to begin. I get some of the pictures taken and the customary electrocardiogram and get some disturbing news. I am told the doctor wants to have the echo done before the stress test then he wants to speak to me after the echo..
