This marked the first time an event of this stature has ever been announced via Twitter.

Starting in Amsterdam and spending the first three days in the Netherlands the 2010 Giro d’Italia route was announced. This is only the ninth time in history that the Giro has started outside of Italy. The Giro runs from May 8, 2010 through May 30, 2010.

Annette, Nicole and I made the trip down to Greenville again today to see the RR Championship. It was a great day watching some of the best US cyclists compete for the National RR title. We ran into Terry and his daughter Sarah while Nicole and I were wandering around downtown Greenville. We took lots of pictures, this time we did get pictures of the Podium Girls.
