Gaston County

Put on by the Gaston County Cyclist on the second Sunday in July. Three routes: 65, 48 and 25 miles. Registration at the start of the ride.

There are a couple of “shortcuts” that lengthen the 48 mile ride and shorten the 65 mile ride. As more information becomes available I will post here. For the most current information and reports of previous years ride to the the Gaston County Cyclists website.

The Gaston County Cyclist are having their Crowders Mountain Spring Ride on Sunday, April 13, 2008. It is a metric century ride, with 37 and 22 mile options though southern Gaston County, NC and northern York County, SC.

Registration is on event day only in accordance with the GCC inclement weather policy. The start and finish is in the Crowders Mountain State park in Gaston County, NC.

The Gaston County Cyclist are having their Polar Bear Bike Ride on Sunday, January 13, 2008. It is a 50 mile ride, with a 40 mile option though southern Gaston County, NC and northern York County, SC. There are water stops with cookies and fruit and the ride is SAG supported.

Registration is on event day and is $10 for non-GCC members and $5 for club members. The start and finish is the Forestview High School in Gastonia, NC.
