AoMM Training Ride #3

Saturday May 10th at 8:00 AM join the Freewheelers for the 3rd Assault on Mount Mitchell Training Ride. This ride goes from North Greenville University in Tigerville, SC up to Caesar’s Head State Park covering 85 miles with approximately 8,000 feet of climbing.

North Greenville University’s athletic complex on Hwy 414 across from the campus site. 60 mi – includes Howard Gap Rd. A barbeque lunch/dinner served at the end of the ride 2:00 – 5:30 PM in the parking lot.

Assault Training Ride Schedule Set

The Assault training rides are a great way to get in shape for either of the Assault rides, or for general fitness. Each one increases both the mileage and difficulty, culminating in the Marquis de Sade ride that includes Howard’s Gap. Be prepared to do a lot of climbing! Here is the schedule:
