Comment Policy

Comments are welcome here at The Incidental Cyclist, you add a great and valuable contribution to the discussion!

In order to maintain the integrity of my blog some measures have been put in place to deter spam type of comments. Please note that I do not moderate comments, trackbacks or pingbacks.

If you leave awesome comments, you should be rewarded with a link back to your site. Because that’s exactly what you deserve for such efforts! With that in mind I have implemented the NoFollow Free plugin. Registered users will have the benefit of the nofollow tag added to each and every link. Guest users will need to post a few comments before the nofollow tag is implemented.

I do reserve the right to edit or delete comments that contain:

• irrelevant links, such as:
  • “What an awesome article,
    I will use it for my web at: (URL).
    Thank you so much…”
• worthless comments:
  • that have nothing to do with the content
• links to garbage or scraped content sites
• links to offensive sites:
  • porn, hate, violence, gambling
