Bike Fit Video

Another look at bike fit. As many of my readers and friends know I am a big proponent of bike fit. If it doesn’t fit right you would feel comfortable and you will stop riding. Here is a video that shows some basic bike fitting. The explanations are clear. It also doesn’t hurt that the fit subject is a beautiful woman, always good to see ladies riding!

Share the Road PSAs

The San Luis Obispo County Bicycle Coalition created some public service announcements about Sharing the Road. I have posted them here so we can see what other areas of the country have done and what can be done here to to raise awareness and promote cycling and walking within our county.

Our Sunday Ride (11/18)

logo-dirtdivasToday Nicole and I got to ride with a new group of people. Some of the Dirt Divas (if you have never heard of the Dirt Divas, just visit their web site here to find out more about them) came out to ride from Waxhaw, NC. They were planning a slightly longer route than the normal Sunday group that also included some of the only hills in Union County. Nicole and I decided we would ride with them this afternoon so we could get in some hills. If you are a regular reader of The Incidental Cyclist, you might remember that we are starting our training to ride in the Assault on Marion this coming June.

Sunday on Crow Road (video)

Here is a clip from last Sunday’s ride. It is the portion of the ride that is on Crow Road. The video is about 10 minutes long.

The actual video is clearer, but to save bandwidth it has been re-encoded to approximate the quality of a YouTube video
