All total there’s 125 miles of some of the best cycling east of Charlotte with over 7500 ft. of vertical climb to challenge even the strongest riders. This ride will include SAG support and rest stops. But please be sure to bring at least two water bottles and some nutrition. New tandem wheels

This little post could easily have just been called "New Wheels" because there really is nothing tandem specific about them. The components arrived a few weeks ago and all that was left was to take some spare time and build them up. You all know what spare time is don’t you, since we all have so much of it laying around.

A while ago I posted my two current MTB project bikes. I’m happy to say that one of them is (mostly) complete, and wanted to share the final outcome. I also got a good deal on a road frame that I’ll be building up sometime in the next couple months.

I’ve had a couple of projects I’ve been working on for the past few months that I thought I’d share with you. The first project, is my PedalForce MTB bike. Regular readers will recognize the frame, as my uncle also has the same frame. We both purchased the frames at the same time, I’ve just been a lot more pickier about what components I’m willing to put on the bike.

For the tandem that is. Earlier this week I got a centerline drawing of the tandem dimensions. After studying it for a while I had a lot of trouble visualizing just how Nicole would fit in the stoker compartment. I tried to work the math out in my head then finally gave up and decided to give Brent a call.
