So, here we are in the year 2010. Starting the new year off correctly was something I have been meaning to do. With very good intentions I planned on getting on the bicycle on January 4th. Well as it so happened I had to travel out of town on the 4th. Since my destination was sunny Florida I figured I would drive instead of fly and that way I could take advantage of the warm weather and get a few rides in after the meetings for the day were done. Who could have known that Florida would be in the worst cold spell they have seen in years, with morning temperatures in the low 20°’s.
Well another week has passed and now the weather seems to be finally warming up. I am going to try again tomorrow. It’s just too bad they weather is calling for rain over the weekend.
Sometimes you just can’t win.

You should have been out there this afternoon (wed, Jan 20). Couldn’t have been nicer. Tim runs a great ride if you ever want to join in on Wed afternoons. Good luck with the training. THe conditioning does return I keep telling myself.
