This weekend our family decided to do something other than cycling. We took a trip to the Monroe Executive Airport to see the Warriors and Warbirds 2009 Airshow. It is simply amazing to see 60 year old aircraft that have been restored and look like they just came out of the factory. It is also amazing to see that the sheer performance these aircraft possess.
While planes are in the air the announcers tell you about the history of the plane or other anecdotal tales and even some trivia. This is the first time we have ever been to a live air show. We have been to travel and air museums including the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. the sounds and smells of a live show are simply incredible.
