The Big Stampede is almost here…

The biggest bicycle swap meet and expo is coming back to Lowes Motor Speedway in Concord, NC on Sunday, November 8, 2009. The expo and swap meet runs from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. There is a $5.00 admission charge and children under 12 are free, there is also free parking. There will be the usual Kid’s Play Zone.

The Big Stampede is a good place to find closeout and new and used cycling or related items at pretty good prices. The vendors include manufacturers, retailers, cycling clubs as well as individuals.

Directions:

Eastern visitors:

• Take Hwy 64 to Asheboro, then take Hwy 49 South to Harrisburg. Follow the signs from Harrisburg to the speedway. Turn right on Morehead Road.
• Take Hwy 73 from Albemarle to Hwy 49. Take Hwy 49 South to Harrisburg. Turn right on Morehead Road. (at Circle K store)

Northeast visitors:

• Take I-85 South to Exit 58 (Hwy 29 & 601). Take Hwy 29 South to the speedway.
• Take I-85 South to Exit 55 (Hwy 73). Take Hwy 73 East to Hwy 29. Take Hwy 29 South to the speedway.
• Take I-85 South to Exit 52 (Poplar Tent Road). Turn left on Poplar Tent Road and follow the signs to the speedway.
• Take I-77 South to Exit 25 (Hwy 73). Take Hwy 73 East to Hwy 29 South to the speedway.

Western visitors:

• Take I-85 North to Exit 42 (Hwy’s 29 & 49). Take Hwy 49 North to Harrisburg. Follow the signs to the speedway.
• Take I-85 to Exit 42 (Hwy’s 29 & 49). Take Hwy 29 North to the speedway.
• Take I-85 North to Exit 48 (I-485). Take I-485 to Hwy 29. Take Hwy 29 North to the speedway.

Southeast visitors:

• Take Hwy 601 North to Hwy 29. Take Hwy 29 South to the speedway or I-485.
• Take I-485 to Hwy 49 North to Harrisburg. left on Morehead Road.
• Take I-485 to Hwy 29 North to speedway.
