		<description>Probably because there are no Police Issue mountain shoes. I would think Eggbeaters or Speedplays would be better but back in &quot;the day&quot; it wasn&#039;t that hard to get out of clips if they were not cinched down tight.</description>

		<description>Bud: how do the police officers put their feet into cages quickly? I would think to catch quickly they would want clips and recessed shoes to run. I notice 2 officers in the Arysley Village area off of the connector 485/Tryon. And they corner of Tyvola/49 Tryon when heading from work to home (4:45pm). Did not notice they feet clips though. Wonder if its the norm, or their preference. Shoe cages--- sort of old style but maybe its fast.</description>
