With all due respect for the effort, slide shows are more fun to look at and interesting if the photos are edited in advance. About 30 photos is the most that most people want to spend time looking at. I realize some people just want to see themselves, but better to have a few of the good shots than a hundred, with only a dozen good ones among them. Not to be critical of the photographer, but even the pros only keep/use about 2% of what they take. It also makes the photographer look better when you only show the good ones. And there is nothing wrong with cropping and touching up photos before uploading them.

Same goes for video. Six second clips is the rule of thumb for length, unless there is something pretty interesting going on or a good narrative to hold people’s attention.

Criticism accepted. I understand that not everyone wants to see every photograph taken, I just posted them as a gift to those who participated, as my daughter was the photographer. She was not the official photographer because they didn’t have one.

Many of the participates expressed interest in being able to download the image of themselves walking during the event. The Gallery (which was added after this event) is now going to be the place to view all post processed images with posts reserved for a select few, just as you suggested. We just didn’t go back to edit these posts after the fact.
