It arrived safely and it is beautiful, Nicole took about 95 pictures of me unpacking and unwrapping the frame and fork. The box is very well used. On it hand written is the phrase, “Rue Sports, We recycle everything.” Inside there are sheets of used Styrofoam. A lot of packing material to protect the frame during shipping. The frame is wrapped in one of life’s dishonest pleasures, bubble wrap! Also in the box are an Alpha-Q Tandem fork, Bushnell eccentric and seat post clamps. Everything is in great shape.
After unwrapping all that bubble wrap we are left with a frame that shines. The silver to white fade is subtle, in some spots barely noticeable. The fork also has a matching paint scheme.
We stand in amazement that it is finally in our hands and at the beauty. After a few more pictures we bring it back into the house. Now we admire it as my wife mumbles something about ‘bike in the house.’
Today I have to pay for the rest and run a few errands. Later I will be taking more pictures of the build detail, mostly close up before starting on the actual bike build. More later.
