Wow, what a beautiful day. I had a chance to go out and do a short ride. This is the second day in a row. It is beginning to look like I am now motivated to start my season. It was 62° and sunny when I left my home. It was just a short trip around the few streets in Indian Trail and Stallings. The total mileage was about 14 miles, not much of a ride but it was still a ride nonetheless.
I was amazed to see at least five other riders on the roadies out today not to mention the numerous children out with their new Christmas bikes in the neighborhoods. It was a wonderful sight to see. I did get a chance to ride with someone for a few miles. He was escaping four children and too much baked ham for a short ride. We road about four miles together.
All in all a very good day. I am sure glad I live in Union County!
