Glad to read that you both endured you adventure safely. I know you say you won't be headed back anytime soon, but I'd expect to hear you guys talk about training for Mitchell again !! Looking forward to seeing you guys out on the roads again soon.
As far as flat centuries are concerned, if you don't mind travelling a bit, I know of a couple of very nice ones up north.

Thank you, thank you. I am rather fond of my story telling skillz. (and yes I just spelled that with a z.)

Peter - The only thing left that we want to accomplish on the tandem is a century. But one with no hills. Maybe that one in TN, The Fastest Century In The World one. But I don't think that we are planning on doing Marion again any time soon.

JV, It was a rush riding with Nicole and accomplishing our goal of finishing Marion. We are not talking about next year but we are talking about finding a flatter century ride so we can check that one off our list too!

Nicole appreciates all the encouragement she gets from the other riders in the groups we ride with and I can tell that it motivates her to give just that little bit extra when we need it.

Nicole,

Marion is a great accomplishment. One day you and your dad will smile thinking about the time you spent together doing it. Good for you to help your dad push through those last miles. That's what team work is all about.

Great job! Congratulations to you and your dad.
