We’ll ride the extended Mint Hill loop. This is the same course that we did on Memorial Day with rolling hills and light traffic through Mecklenburg – Union – Stanley and Cabarrus counties. This ride leaves from the public lot across the RR tracks from bike shop parking lot in downtown Matthews.
Start: Bicycles East of Matthews 195 N. Trade Street
Average Speed will be 16-18 mph
Route: 34 and 53 mile options / marked routes
Leader: Richard Moody
Notes: No ride if it’s below freezing or raining at the start. Rest Stop at BP Station in Mint Hill. Strict no drop policy
All Riders Should:
- Bring water and nutrition for a ride of this distance. Rest stop is 24 miles into the ride.
- Be prepared for the forecasted weather.
