There must have been over 50 riders at the start. We nearly filled the Locust City Park parking lot. Jeff picked out a good route with just a little bit of traffic in some unavoidable spots. The weather started out great, and for those that finished early it stayed that way. I on the other hand got caught in some rain near the end of the ride.

New, Improved Route!
Route: 62 Miles / Marked
Note: This route can range from 62 to 75 miles depending on which route option you select to ride.
Pace: Cat 1 - 3 Click here for Pace / Terrain Info
Terrain: Very hilly, demanding climbs with long and/or steep grades.
Start Time: 8:30 AM
About as hill free as one can get around Waxhaw, this is the ride Coach likes to take those who have been neglecting their training on. Much loved by those who rode hard on Saturday and want a short recovery ride for Sunday afternoon.
The Cureton rides start out riding through Waxhaw and work their way around to Van Wyck and back. The longer routes go a little further down towards Lancaster. These routes incorporate a lot of the local area routes. They are all marked with Y’s and directional arrows. There are three routes including 38, 50, and a 58 mile options.
Start Location: Cureton Town Center (Corner of Providence and Kensington Roads)
