The funeral service for Brian Rau is this Wednesday January 30 from 3-4pm at Weddington United Methodist Church on the corner of 84 and Providence. The funeral service is open to all that would like to attend.

A cycling story

As many of you know, my daughter and I ride our tandem most every Sunday. What some of you don’t know is that she is a High School Junior at Central Academy of Technology and Arts in Monroe, NC. One of the full load of classes that she is taking is Advanced Placement English. Last week she wrote a fictional story about a cyclists ride up a mountain. Her teacher was impressed with her writing and told her it was one of the best pieces she has written all year, so she decided to post it on her blog, A Day With A Monkey.
