The Dewey Hughes Memorial & Corpening YMCA Bike Ride

The Tour de Lure—100 Mile Bike Ride: A challenging ride leaving from the Corpening YMCA at 8 am on a rolling, beautiful course that winds from McDowell County through farmland, a pull up Stone Mountain, easing along Lake Lure and back into McDowell County via the Assault on Mitchell route, but with a little surprise near the end! This route will average app. 8400 feet of cumulative climbing.

The Dewey Hughes Metric Century Bike Ride: A memorial ride that will run the traditional course, but will leave from the Corpening YMCA at 8:30 am. This course is also a beautiful scenic route that follows along the rural roads in McDowell County and is app. 58 miles in length with the surprise at the end!

The Corpening YMCA Fun Bike Ride: An exciting course that will be app. 30 miles in length and will follow the same course as the Metric, but without the surprise at the end! This ride will also begin at 8:30 am.
