Just for my readers, all the ride data that I post will now have an accompanying elevation chart. The chart currently is in kilometers distance and meters elevation, but it will give you an idea of the terrain you will be traversing.
I will be asking anyone that wants to submit a ride for the calendar to provide either a GPX file with the elevation data included or a MapMyRide route URI where I can export the GPX w/altitude data. That will be the easiest way to see the elevation charts on the event posts. I do not have the bandwidth to recreate route maps from cue sheets so that is why I am asking for them in advance, but I will do the best I can.
If any Garmin Forerunner/Edge user has a ride they like please contact me via the Contact page and I will assist you in exporting and sending me the GPX file for inclusion on the Routes page. It is only with your help that this site will be a useful resource to everyone who visits here.
