Pedal Force RS2 frame set Group Buy

For those adventurous souls that like to build up their own bikes, here may be a deal for you. Pedal Force, a bicycle importer from the North Eastern USA is offering a new frame/fork for 2008 at an incredible deal. If you hadn’t noticed on some of the rides Nicole and I do when we are on single bikes we ride Pedal Force RS frames.

This new frame is slightly different than the RS and has a slightly more aggressive geometry. Full specs can be seen on the Pedal Force product page. The frame retails for $800.00 US but the way the group buy works is that you sign up for a specific price point and if enough people sign up then everyone will get the lowest tier pricing. As of January 10 there are 86 people signed up, which potentially prices the frame at $520.00 in the all Black carbon version, the Red/Black carbon is $30.00 more. There is a matching fork, the FKR8 that is priced at $95.00 regardless of color.

Rumor is that this is the same frame as the Fondreist TF1, but Pedal Force is usually mum about their sources, here is a quote of their description:

On some rainy unmotivated day I will write up a review of the Pedal Force RS that I am currently riding. After 3000 miles I think I should be able to write something intelligent about what I like and don’t like.
