I am not sure what you are trying to say here, The website you mention does not say specifically that those are DT rims. Anyway the DT rims with dual eyelets have proven to be very stout rims capable, if properly built and tensioned of holding up the weight of a tandem couple.

Best of luck.

DT rims wouldn’t be allways the best choice. I saw some interesting photos here: http://bquality.110mb.com/
The DT standard quality that isn't so standard.

Thanks for the info.

We only do raching and our combined weight is 310 pounds. I think it's time I ordered some rims, spokes, hubs & a long axle.

BTW, is there anything you'd do differently second-time-round (wider rear hub, e.g. Huigi tandem, for instance)?

Hently,

Yes they are built up and I am currently running them all the time on our tandem. Please note we are not like so many other tandem teams in that we do no loaded touring. So we are minimalists on the tandem. We are also not a light team at 340 pounds. The wheels have been working great and a follow-up post was published here:

Hi Bud

I'm also looking for a cheaper, but light, set of tandem racing wheels. Have you used the wheels you mention above yet? Any problems during build or during use?

And one last questions: what weight did they come in at?

Thanks
