The second annual Discover Anson Bike Ride will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. at Ansonville Elementary School, located on U.S. 52 across the street from the Ansonville Volunteer Fire Department. The entry fee is $25 ($20 if the entry is received by Oct. 19).
The bicycle routes include a 30-, 50- and 70-mile ride. The routes include a scenic tour of historic Anson County and is dominated by dense forests, open fields and rolling hills in the shadow of the Uwharrie Mountain Range. Routes also border the Pee Dee National Wildlife Refuge.
The Discover Anson Bike Ride is sponsored by the Anson County Chamber of Commerce and is organized by the chamber’s Marketing Committee.
