Fixed Magazine®

FREE PDF DOWNLOAD AVAILABLE NOW!

A new magazine for fixed gear riders is now available. It focuses on the UK and the fixed gear scene around the world. The publisher has decided to make the first issue available as a download. It is an 11mb Adobe .PDF file (you will need Adobe Reader to view it). Clink on the image to the left to download your copy.

Like all magazine startups I hope they make it, its a very hard business. It has some interesting writing and some very good photography. Download it and tell me what you think, or better yet, tell them.

If you’d like a real printed paper version - printed on 100% unbleached recycled paper using vegetable oil inks - you can either get it from one of their international stockists for free, or alternatively, buy a single issue or a subscription.

New MTB build

Last month I got a great deal on a full carbon MTB hard tail frame. So after a few days of deciding what I wanted to do with it I came up with the following build list.

I’ve recently purchased a Cannondale Capo SS/FG. I have only logged about 10 miles on it, between riding down to the pool and riding to the neighbors house, but even with so few miles I have to admit that I love this bike. I opted for the black frame with the graffiti writing it, and I am extremely happy with my choice. The gearing is 48-17 and it is fine for now, but I might change it out once I start riding it on the road more. All and all, it is a great bike for the price and I will be sure to write a longer review once I have had the opportunity to ride for a longer distance.
